...and this one for dj meno, aka e cos he likes bran van 3000, abraham and ladytron. this record includes all of them and the sweet white female voice, he'd be crazy for, i know. nice chilled songs, sometimes a hard housy one, really coherent, with many funny interludes, interrupted by a narrator - good joke. a lovable record.

12 - Bruno Spoerri - Les Electroniciens

oh my god, it's the cure. full of rare latin jazz funk soul rhythm and blues and the whole lot of other stuff i like in the 60's music. i can't explain, i wouln't like to explain and i do not have to explain why this record's so good, if you're listening to it. one of the must haves. so i think nzanga sese kulu and spityu zu're going to get this too. there's nothing wrong with this kind of groovin.

hip hop and you don't stop

de la soul - live @ dmc
budapest, 22-nov-2003

dmc, the hungarian hip hop event, just constrained - what else could i say. small guys in hip-hop uniform behaving as seen on mtv, dj research jumping near by us.. no silly dance, no feeling, just crying, cos de la soul asked us. no choice: you have to cry your soul out otherwise they gonna start the song over again. i really would have like what they made except this tiny little thing: the absence of the humble of a performer. yepp. you are paid, so do the show, please. and do not start the song over again.

black eyed peas - elephunk ***

7. Latin Girls
8. Sexy
9. Fly Away
10. The Boogie That Be
11. The Apl Song
12. Anxiety
13. Where Is The Love

that's happen if you're at a big label. you have to do commercial songs, for everybody without quality cos the boss asked you. this lp could have been a huge one. but the producer asked some popular ones. i really feel sorry. you should have do it on your on way without compromise like tracks as where is the love and the other single. these are terrible

I'm a bit disappointed. My sister asked me to buy this CD for her, and I've been so happy to buy some music for her, to listen something that she likes, and remember that funny evening we've been spending in Amsterdam to Nelly's Hot in here... The whole time i've been waiting that track, that fast one, with that strained beat, but nope. that's the other one.

7. Everybody's a Masterpiece
8. You're a Winner

4CD on my musicphone, this isn't high-end, but Spityu gave me his old cd's too. Leroy, the rnb disco funk soul brother made me really happy today. He always knows what's going on in my mind, he knows what I need: strings, hammond, and a lot of love. Not all the tracks are 5star quality, but this is like mining the genomic data: let's find the gene in the huge amount of data!

today i've got this cd on my musicphone. i bought this one in a tiny little shop on the berwick street in london, for 5?. It's been so cheap, and scrappy's been always a fave song of mine. soul to soul, two step, garage, pop and rnb, over and underground sounds are mixed together in a homogenic unique sound, spiced with the magical black voice of the singer lane. sparkling diamond.

12. Give You That - feat. Obi & Real Elements
13. Central Park
14. Come Alive - feat. Dr Luke
15. Short Breath
16. On Your Own - feat. Cathy Burton

that's what happens to your record if you keep the tracks just for yourself, and you woudn't like to release it. all the tracks are heard, well-known, nothing new. i've got some of the tracks (7, 14) on pre-released vinyl from 2000, some of them i know from mixes made by krafty kuts, so i really miss the feeling, that i get something new, almost out of date. these are nice hip-hop influenced party tracks, if you don't know krafty kuts. but i'm really disappointed, this record is just a bluff.

10. Tom Y Joyce - Un Regard, Un Sourire

saturday noon's the drumandbass heaven for the small guys in deep. the school is over, you can give out your pocket money for the dnb promo's and partytickets. how i hate this kind of crowd in a record shop! i had to prove my good taste of music, so i snapped this record full of nice afro-latin tracks. they say this record converts jazz, Afro, Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms into dancefloor destroyers. Awesome live players get the treatment from a cross-section of ace studio bods, resulting in a wicked selection that'll heat up your hi-fi and rock the party in equal measures. Marvellous gear. i say i'd like to have it.

Husky Rescue - Sleep Tight Tiger EP ***
catskills, september 2003

1. Sweet Little Kitten
2. Sleep Tight Tiger

the very nice sleeve and vinyl format contains chilled downtempo music. but i'm just missing the mood of zero7. could be a record for me, but not this time.
