VOLT reports

kispál és a borz live (zero*):
boring, boring, boring, boring...

kosheen live ****
they know what it means to play at festivals. fast songs, drum and bass and hard rock in one, a witch on the stage, pierced dog-collars, great gig

yonderboi live set *****
started with the same old hip-hop beats, followed by some "funnybreak, bunnyfreak" tunes like ericsumo's mix of amorf ördögök, moloko, and some other 80's stuff (i did once klf 3 AM eternal, now he did it as well.. i was thinkin... he-he-he, mine's been earlier... well, jerkwater) and then some f*n great breaks. this boy can. this is high quality hungarian product. KÁF.

dzihan and kamien live set ****
my icons. the only problem was the had to play 3 hours, so they played their cheap-trick gig. maybe they thought 'aaaight, this's just a small town in hungary where we will play, so the classic cuts will be enough' so they played the SAME TRACKS IN THE SAME ORDER as they did in 2001 and 2002. (download here: 2001 part one 2001 part two 2002 part one 2002 part two) i was standing there like give me your BLÖKSHARDT, i can do it too. (o.k, not, but, well, so... ehmm..) during the 3 hours set they played only 10 new tracks. Nope, not some new D&K, but average tunes, i didn't know that they've got (like malente-we came to party, slide-slipperly slide, war-galaxy2000) Somebody should give them a record-token to buy some new plates. Not all the mixes were professional, but at the end, they seemed to be more easier, when they were playing their favorite jazztracks from the 70's. vlado was dancing in the background with his happy smile, and mario was doing his hocus-pocus: 'a sprinkle of the high's a smack of the low's, now it can be crossfaded'.
